Software testing forms one of the major components of Intermedia's skillware. This has enabled us to deploy this knowledge to provide a quality service to a major international client.
Our testing skillware covers many facets that are integral to ensuring robust and reliable software.
Functionality Testing
The extent to which a product meets expected functional requirements through validation of product features. This can be as simple as a smoke test to ensure primary functional operation, or as detailed as checking a variety of scenarios and validating that all output meets specified expectations.
Installation Testing
Gauging the stability of software or how easily it installs on specified platforms.
Multi-user Load testing
Determining the impact on speed when multiple users access the resources at the same time. The worst case response times can be determined for each of the user's commands and how fast a product executes various events.
Stress Testing
Evaluating the performance of the software under extreme conditions of load. This determines how long the product can function satisfactorily under the specified maximum capacity. This is also done to determine the break point of the software and its effect on the system.
Automated Testing
Usually employed for regression testing, a series of automated tests are run which covers all features of the product. This is also used to create large volumes of data needed for testing the product.
Regression Testing
Finding out to ensure bug fixes to previously reported defects were successful, and those fixes to not introduce new defects. The test cases written for regression testing cover many indicators:
- Capability Does it perform the required functions?
- Reliability Does it work well and resist failure in all required situations?
- Usability How easy is it for the real user to use the product?
- Performance How fast and responsive is it?
- Installability How easily can it be installed on its target platform?
- Compatibility How well does it work with external components and configurations?
Our testing methodology is governed by two factors domain knowledge inherent in the product, business rules and the logic that drive the software.
We customize the testing solutions to fit your needs.
